The brushless motors have been specially designed for the AR.Drone to guarantee high performance and a long lifetime. The motor has a power of 15 Watts and completes 28,000 revolutions per minute (RPM) when hovering. It corresponds to 3,300 RPM on the propeller. The motors' ranges begin at 10,350 RPM and go up to 41,400 RPM. The motor is attached to its electronic controller which has been specially designed for the AR.Drone. An 8 bit low power microcontroller and a 10 bit ADC control the speed of the motor. This kit includes one motor with its controller card, 3 short metal screws and 3 long metal screws. The longer metallic screws (plastic type) secure the motor's electronic controller on the central cross and the shorter screws (metallic type) secure the motor itself on the central cross.

The AR.Drone has been designed to be easy to maintain. Every part can be replaced when damaged, and the included tool kit enables you to assemble and disassemble every part of your AR. Drone if necessary. The tool kit includes a Phillips™ screwdriver to remove and reassemble the motors and the Torx™ screwdriver for the main board and the navigation board. Also provided is a special circlip tool used to easily insert and remove the circlips that hold the propellers and gears onto the shafts.

Cant find anything on google…Trouble happened after crash in deep powdery snow, so some molten on the circuits.after drying circuits:I had a problem with the Motor on the Arm #4 (rear left) , not spinnig at all, i tried switching the Motors , same, “Arm #4″ not working All lights are Green thoNavboard OK as all sensors reply correctly,Arm #4 Wires are OK and checked with multimeter.I’m afraid it is the Mainboard. is anything on it that i can check?Thanks!!

Cant find anything on google…Trouble happened after crash in deep powdery snow, so some molten on the circuits.after drying circuits:I had a problem with the Motor on the Arm #4 (rear left) , not spinnig at all, i tried switching the Motors , same, “Arm #4″ not working All lights are Green thoNavboard OK as all sensors reply correctly,Arm #4 Wires are OK and checked with multimeter.I’m afraid it is the Mainboard. is anything on it that i can check?Thanks!!

AR.Drones are the worst.I just fixed mine and after 1 day (yes,1 day) it broke, I didn’t even fly it and it keeps saying “Motor Emergency” If this is going to keep on this “Toy” will get a bad review
