These propellers have been specially designed for the AR.Drone by a team who won the French Army micro drone contest. They are made to optimize power consumption and thrust. Propellers are marked either “C” (for “clockwise”) or “A” (for anticlockwise). The propellers should be mounted as follow: motor 1: "C" motor2: "A" motor 3: "C" motor4: "A". This kit includes 4 propellers (2 “C” and 2 “A”), and 8 circlips. For an easy mounting, a special circlip tool is available in the “mounting tools kit” to easily insert and remove the circlips which hold the propellers and the gear on the shaft.

The AR.Drone has been designed to be easy to maintain. Every part can be replaced when damaged, and the included tool kit enables you to assemble and disassemble every part of your AR. Drone if necessary. The tool kit includes a Phillips™ screwdriver to remove and reassemble the motors and the Torx™ screwdriver for the main board and the navigation board. Also provided is a special circlip tool used to easily insert and remove the circlips that hold the propellers and gears onto the shafts.

- You will find that they have a Phillips screw driver designed in a thin fit to slide into the deeper recesses of the drone.

Step 1 : Remove the propeller circlip
Step 2 : Remove the damaged propeller
Step 3 : Remove the damaged gear
Step 4 : Remove the damaged shaft
Step 5 : Mount the new shaft
Step 6 : Mount the new gear
Step 7 : Mount the new propeller
Step 8 : Fix the propeller using a new circlipFinal Step : Test by manually spinning the new propeller
Note : To guarantee optimal flying conditions and ensure the AR.Drone stability, we recommend you change all propellers at the same time.

I broke one leg of the cross axis. I ordered a new one on Amazon and I did the repair in 20 minutes, without any problem. I am not a hobbist and never had done it before. I just took 20 minutes because I had to move all of 4 motors, and all cards. But I did it without any issue.
